In addition to the time spent teaching, I also make time for shooting some hoops, playing video games and tuning into the NBA. My dad was my first English teacher. I started to learn english when I was 6. For the most part, I learn English through video game. A video game is much more interactive than simply watching TV or listening to the radio. Seeing the characters in the video game talking to each other makes me feel excited. If i hear the character in the game say anything that I dont know, I note it down. Then I look it up in the dictionary. That is how I learn english. I also have a foreigner friend who speaks english to me every single day. If I make any mistake, he will point it out and show me how to pronounce it right.
My parents were very supportive. They have always been here for me since the first day I started learning english.
I think that my biggest strength is my flexibility and willingness to always learn and try new things. To be specific, sometimes I follow the lead of the students and alter my plans.
My weakness is definitely time management. It is something that I've been working on lately and I am making some progress.
It was only by chance that I became an English Teacher at Ms Hoa... I overcame many challenges
I graduated from University of Economics HCM city and my major was economics.
Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of white-collar job. Therefore, finding a suitable job is quite tough for me.
And then one day, my friend told me that there was an open position for me.
So I say yea let's do it
For me, teaching English has always been a big passion of mine
I am over the moon every time I go to class, I can see my students improving their English everyday. My most memorable moment was when I first became an English Teacher, I met this student who was 50 years old. She couldnt learn English like anybody else. And after 2 months. She became good at English. And she said thank you, you are my best inspiration. I'm filled with joy back then.
My main goal is to teach and share my wisdom with you. I would love to take part in the development and hopefully the success of Ms Hoa Communication English. Lastly, I will try my best to become the best teacher in this prestigious establishment.
Don't worry about mistakes. Just keep talking even if your grammar is wrong. It's best to learn by doing. On the weekend,instead of staying home, you should go to Nguyễn Huệ Walking Street and talk to foreigners, as many as you can. Always carry a notebook with you, so that you can note down new words everytime you see them.
Learning english is a whole process. It took me 20 years to be this good. I believe that English is a life-changer, in fact, it also helps you to make more money.so If you are coming to Ms Hoa to get to know more about English, then ur coming to the right place. Have a wonderful day.
